Who we are
ReachFast (reachfa.st) is run by Scapin Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 16538829, which is the data controller for everything described here. For any question or request about your data, write to contact@scapin.co.uk.
What we collect about you
When you sign in we receive your email address and, with Google sign in, your name and avatar. When you create a project we store the website, store or app URL you give us and the product profile we build from it, along with the leads and scans that follow.
Payments run through Stripe: we store your Stripe customer and subscription references and their status, never your card number. If you post feedback or vote on features, we store that too. Our host keeps standard technical logs such as IP addresses for security.
What we collect about post authors
ReachFast reads public posts on Reddit, X, LinkedIn and Facebook to find people asking for products or services. For posts worth showing, we keep the public author name or handle, the post text, a link to the original and public engagement counts. Our legal basis is legitimate interest: connecting a public question with someone able to answer it, using only what the author already published.
We never contact authors, never collect private profiles or messages, and always link back to the original post on its platform. If a post is yours and you want it out of ReachFast, email contact@scapin.co.uk and we will remove it.
Why we can process this data
Your account, projects and billing are processed to perform our contract with you. Finding and ranking public posts rests on legitimate interest, as does keeping the service secure. We send no marketing emails without your consent.
Who helps us run ReachFast
Your data is handled by a short list of processors: Supabase (database and sign in), Stripe (payments), Google (sign in), Resend (transactional email), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (the AI that reads websites and posts) and SocialCrawl (fetching public pages). Vercel also counts page visits for us in aggregate. Some of them operate in the United States; transfers are covered by the EU standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision such as the EU US Data Privacy Framework.
Cookies
ReachFast sets only the cookies that keep you signed in. Our visit counting (Vercel Web Analytics) works without cookies and cannot follow you across sites or days. No advertising or tracking cookies exist here, which is why there is no cookie banner to click through.
How long we keep things
Account data lives as long as your account does. A cancelled project is deleted at the end of its paid period, and its leads go with it. Invoices are kept as long as tax law requires. To delete your account and everything in it, email contact@scapin.co.uk and we will erase it.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and the GDPR you can ask for access to your data, have it corrected or erased, receive a copy in a portable format, and restrict or object to processing. That applies to customers and to authors of posts alike. Write to contact@scapin.co.uk and we will answer within a month. You can also complain to your data protection authority, in the UK the ICO.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so by email or on this page before it applies.
