No New Leads After an X Scan? What to Check

Check whether your project has subscribed daily scans, allow for the scan cadence, and assess whether suitable public requests are scarce.

ReachFast guide to checking a quiet X lead board after the first scan

If no new leads appeared after your first X scan, check the subscription for that project before treating the quiet board as a problem. ReachFast gives new customers one free first-project scan; daily scans begin only after subscribing. If the project is subscribed and within its paid period, check how long you have waited and whether your submitted offer still describes what you sell. A board with no new leads is not, by itself, proof that a scan failed.

First, distinguish the free scan from daily scans

Check the subscription state of the project whose board you are viewing. A first scan can show earlier requests without enrolling that project in continuing scans: ReachFast says the first scan reads up to the preceding two weeks of X posts. Seeing leads from that look-back period does not mean more will arrive the following day.

  • If you only used the free scan, do not expect daily updates yet. ReachFast’s terms say daily scans start when you subscribe, with the first monthly payment charged immediately.
  • If you subscribed and have not reached the end of the paid period, continue with the timing and offer checks below. A cancellation does not stop the project immediately: ReachFast says it keeps running until the paid period ends, then its scans pause while its leads and history remain in the account.
  • If that paid period has ended, paused scans are the expected result. Check the project’s subscription before interpreting an unchanged board as a discovery problem.

If subscribed, check timing and your current offer

Note when you subscribed or last saw new results, then compare that interval with ReachFast’s stated daily scan cadence. Its site describes active projects as scanning daily, with new leads landing every 24 hours. Checking again shortly after the first results is therefore different from seeing no additions over several days. The cadence gives you a useful time reference, not a minimum number of leads per day.

Next, look at the website or store page you submitted. Does it still clearly describe the product, intended buyer and any important limits? ReachFast says it builds its search from that page and lets you refresh the product profile if you update your website or product. If your offer has changed, make the page accurate and refresh the profile; then assess later results against the revised offer, rather than expecting earlier scans to reflect it. For a closer look at unclear offers and poor-fit results, see why X lead recommendations can be irrelevant.

A quiet board is not a diagnosis

Consider a fictional pet-portrait seller. Their first scan finds older X requests, but no new leads appear the next day. They confirm that the portrait project is subscribed, note when they subscribed, and check that the submitted store page still describes custom pet portraits. Because the next day is close to the stated daily cadence, they allow more time before drawing a conclusion.

If the board remains quiet, the seller looks for public portrait requests from the same period and asks whether those posts actually seek what the shop offers. Suppose they find only general conversations about pets and no suitable requests. That makes scarcity a plausible explanation, not proof that every relevant post was found or that a scan ran successfully. If they instead find clear, suitable requests absent from the board, they keep the post links and dates as concrete examples to raise with ReachFast. The manual X search versus lead tools comparison can help frame that comparison without treating one search as complete coverage.

ReachFast’s terms say lead volume depends on what people post publicly in your market and do not guarantee a number of leads. Neither one empty day nor a handful of manually found posts establishes a product fault on its own.

When the absence of leads remains unexplained

If the project is within a paid period, enough time has passed to compare with the stated daily cadence, and the offer page is current, record the project, subscription state, relevant dates and any suitable public posts you found. Send those details to ReachFast at contact@scapin.co.uk and ask it to investigate. Describe what you observed rather than claiming the scan failed: an unchanged board cannot tell you whether a scan found no suitable requests or something else needs attention.
